Introduce Yourself!

Good to have you and hope you find this forum to be more hospitable.

Welcome!

Why thank you Trace. I hope to do so as well. So far I am enjoying my stay regardless of being torn about the boot.

I want all of you to know I am a respectable trader (Just look at my feedback on YYN…same username) and was released from the other forum for a bad comment on my end. Unfortunate but I believe it was in poor decision to deliver such a rash punishment. Regardless I have learned to watch my tongue.

Welcome Grindmachinemasta! I hope you enjoy your stay as well.

Hey, my name’s Jin and I’m a Korean currently residing in California.
I’m 14 at the moment, moving onto being a freshman.

Been yoyoing for a month now only actually and I still have lots of work to do.
I can’t even do Buddha’s Revenge but I’m practicing and hoping to get better before my Summer’s over.

I am currently using a Duncan Drifter. I know I’m stuck to using it for a while, but overall I’m pretty happy with it. Really nice yoyo coming from a Duncan in my opinion.

Yeah, so I don’t think there’s not much left to say about myself. I hope to have a great time here!

Welcome!

Hi, I’m Ethan. I pretty much yo-yo every day, and I use a Yoyo Factory 888x, though it is somewhat beat up already. I’m 12 years old and I just began to be introduced to the real world of yoyoing this year, yet the only yoyo I actually knew about was Yomega, and this was a few years ago. Interesting thing, from 7-9 years old I had a Yomega HotShot and a YYJ Speeder my uncle gave to me for my birthday, and I havent picked either up to play since then. In the past few months, I have learned up to Master, and I’m steadily working my way through Ladder Escape.

I’m currently looking for a YYF Skyline (They are sold out everywhere!).

LLAMAS.

Hi, my name is Dennis Gao and i currently use a Dark Magic. i am 12 and am beginner to intermediate at yo-yoing. Altough i got the yoyo about 2 years ago, i just began to use it again 2 or 3 weeks ago. i am currently looking for something caribou lodge-ish?

Welcome to both of you hope you guys enjoy your stay here!

Yeah, this is awesome! I’ve been using Yoyo Expert for all of my yoyos and tricks. Now I’m introduced to the forum!

Hey, I am Toby, Ive been yoyo’ing for a while now I have used an X-Convict, Mini Motu, and my current favorite my DV888.
I love yoyoing and am able to pick stuff up really fast and this website has been the best possible resource for me to do that. I had wanted to learn to yoyo for many years since I was a kid (17 now) and finally am able to do that.
All my family thought I was crazy for buying such expensive yoyos but it has definitely payed off.

Welcome!

P.S. I love the X-ConVict and Dv888 too.

Hello, my name is shane and i have been yoyoing for about 2 and a half years. i love everything about it and enjoy going to contests.

Welcome and hope to see you around.

Hey Toby! I like to see when older people pick it up, or pick it back up (as is the case for me). I look forward to my DV888 coming in as well. Don’t let the nay-sayers wear you down! Many people cringe when they hear how much I pay for yo-yos, but the higher quality ones are worth it. Once I find out what I really like in a yo-yo, I will try to talk my wife into letting me get something over $50. I am glad to hear that the tricks are coming to you easily. Keep up the good work! Happy yo-yoing!

hi all, im hussain, a 25 year old physical therapist, in love with yoyoing. a simple beginner yoyo is all i have, planning on going into sumthing more pro. would like to have sum reccomendations…

btw i love buying the best, even though i dont deserve it.

hello everyone im yoyoarth i have a g5 wich is awesome. i got into yoyoing when my friend got a dark magic and let me use it for about a month. my fav trick is brain twister and atomic bomb. see ya ;D

Hey Hussain!

I have a DM2, Protostar, Northstar, and DV888. I really like the Protostar and DV888, but I play on an advanced level. Do you know how to bind? If not, I would suggest going with the DM2. It’s really responsive compared to some yo-yos. Once you get unresponsive play down, I would look at the Protostar or DV888. Just a thought. I wish you well in your learning!

Hey my name is Mike, I am starting a modding business. I can make your rims look polished and raw. My favorite yoyo is the skyline. I’ve been yoyo-ing for about 1 and 1/2 years. If you want a mod to your yoyo, talk to me about the yoyo and what you want done to it. ;D

Hey everyone. Im Sean, I am a Punk Rocker from Michigan. 25 years old and still YoYoing strong. Pretty much the only thing that im good at! Haha! But, hell yea. YoYo Punx for life! I have been using the YYF 888 recently and Im loving it! Been thinking of getting the String Theory Bandit, but IDK yet. Kinda broke these days. Anyway, Im looking forward to talking to some fellow nerds about YoYoing and maybe meeting some people from Michigan that are also into Yoing. Cheers and Beers!

Hello all; my name is Zion and I am a 14 year old kid with a passion for yo-yoing. Although I’m currently quite a noob, I am getting better every day.Right now i have a stock Kickside, a auldey luminous, a protostar, and a yyf protege.i have made a wish list of the yoyos i still want to buy and will hopefully be able to buy them all in the future when i have the money. I live in Auckland,New Zealand and am living near a friend of mine which yoyos too.he has a yyf northstar and a yyj legacy.
Cheers

Hello!
My name is Christian. I’m eighteen years old and I live in Southern California. I’ve only been yoyoing for about 9 months. I got into yoyoing after I saw Jensen’s 2010 Worlds routine and Mickey’s Japan Nationals routine of the same year. Since then, I just got interested and wanted to try it out.
I’m pretty much the only (or the fewest) yoyoer(s) in my area so I think I stand out but at the same time it’s a bummer because I don’t have anyone to throw with.
My first yoyo was a sanded Lyn Fury which my friend gave me back in September. Broke the bearing with no replacements and kind of stopped for a bit. Got back to it when I bought a YYF Protostar in December. Since then, I’ve been practicing left and right.

So far I have the YYJ Lyn Fury (which I need to replace the bearing), YYF Protostar, DV888 (a friend gave me), Hectic (bought off a different friend), YYJ Relic and Shinwoo ZanNavi (which my friend gave me)
Pretty much, most of my yoyos were passed down to me and I’m grateful to have these :]

Enough of my essay-long introduction. I hope to have everyone as company and make camaraderie in here.

See you around!

//Christian.
