Stuck on what throw this may be? It currently has a bead blasted powder coat on it just so you know.
Hmm. Maybe a Storm Panzer throw? I think they had that exposed axle on some yoyos.
I gotta tell ya I donât think this guy is as âhigh endâ as the Sturm items are.
I simply canât find this thing on any of my old stuff for some reason.
looks like someone refinished a Genesis?
The gap is different from a genesis for sure.
Did the hub come with the visible axle? Or was that a mod/done after receiving
I believe this is a stock feature.
In fact I know it is.
The factory anodizing is a light blue on one half and a yellow on the other. I rarely blasted or polished the response/bearing area when I worked on them.
Yoyojoker Double Joker
The older versions had the open axle hole, closed in the newer ones.
Impressive! ![]()
Curious as to how you knew? Do you own one?
I had a feeling it was a Yoyojoker based on the shape and design, a quick google search showed it was the Double Joker haha.
You do great workâŚ
And we have pretty much all known that for years.
But that being said; the finish texture on that yo-yo looks like an industrial diamond finish on a tunnel boring drill bit.
Is that finish murder in strings?
Or is that texture just an optical illusion?
You answered your own question.
Wesley I tip my hat my friend!
Much appreciated
SoâŚgood yo yo to learn to grind with?
Or no?

The particular powder coat that is on this yoyo is very good to grind with. While it does not look like an typical bead blast it is very smooth. I did several yoyos with this powder coat and they were very pleased.
Itâs a very deceitful finish. You would think it feels like stone, but itâs much more like an egg shell. Itâs a very slick finish, doesnât cut string at all.
Actually I didnât answer my own question.
My question was just a question without your answer.
What I asked wasnât a riddle. It was simply a question.
Your response that my question was my answer âwasâ the answer to my question.
Now⌠if you question my answer to your response, than I would question your answer to my response.
This dialogue may have an air of redundancy to it.
But that remains questionable?

I know the answer to your response. Itâs unresponsive!
