There seems to be some misconception as to the definition, and what classifies as, iconic.
“iconic - famous/well known/popular/significant amongst a culture/community, believed to represent a particular idea, value, or time”
“The extent to which any particular object meets these criteria is highly individual and subjective .”
Thus why I say new CLYW are not iconic, but just playing off of older things…I think X^3, Spin Dynamics, and One Drop deserve the Modern Icon Award, but that’s me.
ah, but that is the very reason CLYW IS iconic.
Famous/well known/popular. The Chief is famous, well known, and popular, thus, making it iconic.
I still say to me their older throws are more Iconic…People I know would rather us their Campfire or OG Avalanche…I liked them…they are just too hyped for me. Oh well.
I thought it said ironic yoyos.
Iconic Yoyos?
