I was playing with my protostar outside and tryed that looping thing and hit it to the ground. it now is very loud and sounds like someone scraping a knife on a cave wall and it echos. so now i have that on top of all the problems i have with my protostar. should i ask for a new one?
Does it just sound differant? or does it play differnt, if so, in what way does it not play to your standards.
Have you gone through the whole clean the bearing look around your yoyo put it all back together and throw for a solid two hours. If that doesn’t do take advice from someone who knows more than me. (Not hard to find on this forum)

If you messed it up, you most likely won’t be able to return it. Sorry.
Make sure the bearing didn’t get loosened or anything.
If you smashed your car would you expect the dealer to give you a new one? ???
there were problems prior to the banging but i switched out the ct and now its fine.
