I wasn’t really being serious. I think plastic might be best for this design anyways.
I’m on the hunt for a coke bottle green Plasm. Posted in the BST a while ago looking for one but didn’t get any hits. DM me if you have one you’d part ways with.
That might become one of the most popular ones.
Well, first of all, what’s rather interesting and unexpected to me is that the metal RBC is a fair bit than the plastic Plasm.
Scale says 49g RBC alu, 52g Plasm plastic. IMO 49g is just a bit too light.
I can definitely see this, the plasm is, again, IMO, a far far better overall yo-yo than the metal RBC.
I would say the Plasm is maybe my favorite plastic of all time. Seriously. IT REALLY IS THAT FRICKIN GOOD, a true delight to play in every way.
On paper I can see how the RBC sounds too light, but in hand and throwing it feels like pure class.
Ya I agree. I felt like over the last few years of playing the RBC every day, I would think about tweaks I would make to improve the design. Maybe a little more weight, maybe a little bit larger diameter. But in the end I realized that would take away from its specialness. And now I know not to mess with a good thing. ![]()
I’ve said before, it is not a forgiving yo-yo. It will not make you land bigger tricks. But when you do land stuff, it will be clean, beautiful and steezy. Because the RBC accepts nothing less. And it rewards you with pure satisfaction.
I dunno, the gap / response on the RBC still seems slightly off to me. Vastly prefer the Plasma. I do like the RBC but it feels wildly incomplete next to the Plasma, which is – for the real – the single best plastic yo-yo I have ever touched in my life.
I’m current looking for a blood cell or red blood cell in litterly any condition
extremely [. . .] risky
I wouldn’t want to have to go to the bathroom everytime I throw a magnesium based throw
