I have a love for toys and games. As a kid I always found yo-yos to be fascinating, but never really had the chance to own a decent one. One night in my late twenties I decided to pickup a Butterfly XT while on a Target run and started on this skillful journey. Between 2014 to 2016 found myself throwing every chance I could and during that time I built up a little collection. 2025 I ran into the local yo-yo while out to lunch on a Saturday which brought me back here and taken in by the YYBC.

Life just kinda happened and I took a break for almost a decade.

Early spring of 2025 my wife and I ran into the local yoyo club on a Saturday afternoon. Later in the afternoon I pulled out my bag yoyos and here I am once again throwing a yoyo on the regular.

my play style has always gravitated to wards fixed-axle/responsive play but I do throw unresponsive from time to time especially when trying to learn a new trick. I’m not great, but I enjoying throwing for fun.
