I’m bringing this topic back up for 2 reasons:

Firstly, I’ll be honest, I spent the best part of 20 minutes photoshopping Onedrop-Shawn’s head onto Willy Wonka’s body, and I’m craving recognition for my efforts.

Secondly, and perhaps more importantly (ok, definately more importantly)… this little fact seems to have gotten overlooked.

So right here we have someone that actually has hands on experience with the CiTizen. The first non-employee to try one that I’m so far aware of…

So, AndyB, how did it play? Tell us about it. Spare no detail however small.

I noticed your Shawnka work as soon as I saw it. Very nice job. I am definitely not the best person to evaluate a new yoyo, especially since up until my visit to One Drop, I had experience with only two yoyos, neither of which was a One Drop. I also only had about 2 weeks of experience. I only knew 2 binds, 3 mounts, and gyro flop at the time.

All that said, I thought it played great, and it definitely has a unique feel, compared to aluminum. If I were going to buy a titanium yoyo, that would be the one. It is certainly different enough from everything else I tried out that day to warrant owning one.

Sorry I’m not much help, though. I need to get my hands on the CiTizen again, now that I’m familiar with several One Drop models and am more comfortable manipulating a yoyo and string.
