Well I need one. I’d love to get a green/purple and trade the purple half for either another green half or for an orange half. Maybe even a red!
Actually…I think I need 3 of these.
An all green
Green/Red
Green/Orange

Absolutely the Best news… so far; this Chrisrmas.

I go waaaay back with Hspin… I still have my original Handquake yo-yos. Original Pyro. Pyro light and a 3 different color set of Lilies. And a one of about 10; Black Pyro.

I’m gonna be on these like white on rice.

Just sayin…

Simply amazing retail price point.

Ya think; lol?

WOW…

I remember when the Pyro was an exceptionally wide yo-yo.

Having both the standard and lite, I prefer the pyro lite due to both width and weight. So it looks like the width is about the same as the pyro and the weight is in between the two. Might be good to try.

         pyro pyro x pyro lite

weight 71.7 - 66.4 - 62
width - 45.5 - 45.6 - 40
diam — 55 – 54.9 - 55

I’m just saying I remember when Pyro was considered really wide to everyone. Now it’s pretty standard specs.

Definately true. Times change quickly in our community. Back when PYRO was released, it was one of only very, very few metal yoyos and mostly everyone was throwing YoYoJam Plastic/Al Hybrids. Now as Plastic/Metal Hybrid is rather rare while Metal is all over :slightly_smiling_face:

But there is a very notable difference.

The Pyro ‘back then’ was considered a wide yoyo; no doubt.

But it was a wide yoyo with a not very wide catch zone.

Most more up to date wide yoyos have a considerably wider catch zone.

…So when you compare a new wide yoyo with an original Pyro; you are looking at two very different yoyos.

And wide is pretty much the only thing they have in common.

PREACH! I loved the Pyro for the look but man the wideness did nothing for play honestly. But it was such a cool looking yoyo. I have tons of nostalgia for the Pyro and will definitely be getting red/orange!

Gap improvement for sure - so cool they basically are using the three colorways this boi came in as it released over time. Red/Orange in this case is still the FIRE for me!
