does anyone have any tips for how to make a good string and what tools are required? ;D
What I have done is Taken a nail and hammered it into a workbench, and on the other side of the room (125 inches away) I have put a clamp (not a C clamp but an adjustable bar clamp) on the door. I take my threads that I want to use and tie them to the bench and loop them around the door. Then I takemy rotary tool with a bent paperclip in its chuck, and sping the string for 4-6 seconds depending on what type of string I want to make. Once I am done with that, I take any rubber rimmed yoyo and let the string wind on itself like in the video. Tie it off and your all done.

I suggest just buying string. String lasts a while if you buy the 100 pack. You seem like a beginner player so it should last you a while.
so 125 inches is a good distance?
