How to mod an One Drop M1***

#1

My M1 came responsive and I was wondering if someone could tell me how to make it unresponsive!

10ball bearings do that. just grit your teeth for a minute or two and i will go away.

but I don’t want you to go away.

hah that made me chuckle. If you really cant take it, deshield it, mount it on a sharpened pencil tip, hit it with canned air and a straw – at an angle, it will blow out the primer, and get the balls spinning to work the bearing a little, do it for about 5 minutes, pop the shields back on and re install it. Granted it wasn’t a 10ball I did this on a stock Mosquito bearing and it worked for me.

Also, is this a Pad or a flow groove M1? I have the pad and its more the response than the bearing. Love it, and it will love you back.

It has little gel pads, and can I just put a KK in it?

the KK is a waste of money. Try just playing it a lot and it will break in. When this happens it will last you longer and play better than if you clean it or buy a kk. I like to clean and thin lube mine though. I get impatient too quickly.
