How long does poly strings last vs 50/50 and 100% cotton?

I just made my own polyester string and I want to know how long my string will last, I play with my yoyo 2-4 hours a day.

depends on how well you made it. I tryed some string, it snapped in 1 throw.tryed some other, it lasted 2 weeks

^^. But a standard polyester string from a store can last up to a month.

Its a type 6 it’s pretty smooth, no rope burns!

Well I know my home made 100% poly lasted me over six weeks and I play an average of one to two hours a day. But you have 50/50 and play longer so I’m betting on at least two weeks.
