How long do strings last you?

Uuuhhh how did you extrapolate that from what I wrote?

You can wash it as well to “bring it back to life”

Thought this meant that if you buy strings in large quantities the quality is worse

ill put my strings through a week or 2 of use then ill switch once the tension retention is noticeably poor. I use regular kitty string

This is more of the thing i do. I see fraying on the string. For me it gets back to where it’s more of a cord. Do you get a double break in?

New string vs old string.

My own poly strings last about 2 hours of play before they start to get noticeably “soggy”. I can push up to 4 hours if I really wanted to, but I just loooove the feel of a fresh string.

When you’ve been doing this a while, you just know when. It’s not the response, it’s not the bearing, it’s not you… it’s the string.

How many hours of play roughly did those strings get?

Probably around 40+ maybe more. I usually throw for about 6 to 8 hours a day, predominately with the yellow string and I change strings like every 2 weeks. I’m not gunna lie though, sometimes it messes with my slack tricks

That’s a lot of hours you got out of one string! Color me impressed.

Do you go through a major fray period before reaching used on the left?
