How do i cut star shaped holes for my yoyo case?

Hi. i am going to start on my yoyo case but the tutorials only teack how to cut round holes. is there a way to cut the holes in a 6 sided star shape?

2.25" 6-star cookie cutter, STEEL. You want the biscuit kind because they are thick.

Then, press, use a very sharp razor or Exacto knife to slowly cut through it layer by layer. It takes patience and your hands might get sore. If you take you time, the results will be well worth it.
