Well I was starting on the trick mc bride roller coaster and I’m stuck on the half mount because every time I do it the string keeps bouncing the yoyo back so do any one have a tip for the half mount ???
Just keep practicing, dont hold the string tightly, just hold it lightly.
When i was learning this, I often would have the yo come up and hit the string and then it would bounce downwards because I had the string so tight. Then I started moving my hands toward each other just as the yo hit the string. It usually would roll over my finger and ta dah. Later it will just happen.
It’s incredibly useful if you take your non-throwhand and move it so that the strings are more vertical, that allows the yoyo to fall into place.
Eventually you’ll be able to do it without doing that, but that’s probably the best way to get it learned at first.
