Help! Yoyos becoming fixed-axle!

I’m not sure if “fixed axle” is the best way to describe this, but I got a pair of sunrises and they were working fine, until one started to spin for less than a second. I opened it up, and the bearing just wouldn’t spin. I lubed it, and then I took it out of the yo-yo and it spun fine, but when I put it back in it wouldn’t spin anymore. I suspected it has something to do with my spacers but i am stumped. Tia!

The Sunrise come with a B bearing in them. The spacers they use to accommodate these are very tightly fitted to those bearings. Any sort of dent or burr or even debris of any kind on the spacer… “will” come in contact with the bearing preventing proper spin. Give your bearing a good cleaning but also do a thorough inspection and cleaning of your spacers as well.:+1:
