I just recently got this ReGen for Christmas, and I found the bearing playing somewhat responsive. I deshielded the bearing and cleaned it with paint thinner. (Mineral spirits) and applied thin lube to the tip of a needle and applied it to a single ball on the bearing. I played with it for a couple hours and I am still having the same problem. Help?
If you did what you said properly give it a full day of play and you should be good to go.
Also the response pads might need breaking in too. Just play with it for a few days and it should work itself out. I had to do that with my Speedaholic…took a few days before it became truly unresponsive.
Clean it again, then don’t use lube.
