yea i know it could accept flowable silicone but wouldn’t it fall out easier than red hot temp rtv silicone?
I don’t think it would have a problem slipping out at all.
well, my pads just split in half so i can’t really use them squit anymore. I think i’m gonna try some more pads, maybe try flowable some other day. thanks guys.

Too me it seems like I go through silicone faster than pads, a lot faster.

In my experience gasket maker will last longer than flowable. Even then, flowable should last as long as k-pads in YoYoFactory yo-yos. Gasket maker can last mush longer if applied correctly. From what I have seen it works best if instead of using something curved to make the silicone concave you use something flat/straight to make it flush. My guess is that the break in period makes flush silicone slightly concave whereas it makes concave silicone too concave and thus too thin at the bottom of the recess to hold up as well.
