It’s not working bc you’re not untwisting after the slack part. You gotta curl your index in and undo the half twist after the slack part. I know you made a variation to the trick, but it is still good to know why you couldn’t get the original version to work.
You probably didn’t get any responses because this trick is at least 15 years ago and you didn’t link a tutorial or the original trick video. I was just curious so I thought I would check it out and see if I could spot the problem.
I found three tutorials for it and they’re all a bit different but here’s my version. It’s slow still bc I just learned it like 15 mins ago but you get the idea.
