I visited a friend this week for a couple days. He was kinda interested in yoyoing, by the end of 2 1/2 days he could already do trapeze!!

Kinda curious as to what this looks like.
Is it the yellow one that came with blue caps? I have no idea why some companies say throws are green…when they’re not at all green but are VERY much so yellow.
Or are you talking about the green one they were giving away last year at the world yo-yo contest? That one’s a true green.

I have less than a dozen yoyos right now because I’ve kept things pared down, though I do want more. I’m lucky to own, and have owned, some really great yoyos that I should be content and thankful for.
I totally understand the collector impulse and how getting a new yoyo makes the activity of yoyoing itself feel new again. Just a breakaway to trapeze can feel interesting again, for a moment at least, with a new yoyo.
Buying new yoyos helps to support a community and activity that I enjoy very much. Shout out to all the collectors who buy tons of yoyos that helps to keep the brands going and allows them to continue making cool stuff.

I really dislike wide. I’ve heard, though, that the Samurai doesn’t feel as wide as it measures.
