Having strong colorway preferences can be rough on a collector.
Example: for a while now I’ve been on the lookout for a G2 AL7 Elite and a G2 Respawn in any solid color except black, silver, or green. And, of course, the only AL7 Elite I’ve seen on a BST (since I’ve been looking for one) is black, and the only Respawn I’ve seen on a BST is green. That’s the kind of luck I have…

I bid on a Parlay on ebay which I won on 10th January and I sent the funds on the same day. I was excited because it meant I then had two so I could trade one which I did and now I am a proud owner of a Peak 2. However the Parlay I bid on still hasn’t arrived and the ebay seller has gone quiet, he hasn’t answered a single message I have sent him (sent four in total now) and only update I have had is that the item was dispatched a couple of weeks ago.
I know it isn’t the end of the world and I know I can probably get my money back but that isn’t really the point. These kinds of transactions leave a sour taste in the mouth AND I am no longer the owner of one of the greatest yoyos ever made. This makes me sad 
I know this isn’t really a yoyo specific thought but I had to share it here as this is the only place where people understand my pain

I have now heard back from the seller who apologised and assured me the yoyo is now on the way with some extras, should be with me soon! Hurrah! I will be the proud owner of a Parlay again
