SkyHigh, this is completely off topic but I have to say it. The work on that custom controller is amazing. Did you do it yourself or did you commission someone else to make it for you? I have seen it in other pictures you have posted and I am seriously impressed with its looks.
Back on topic. i have owned in the past both versions of the 5-Star and I miss my black and red 5-Star version 1 so badly. I found it to be one of the best playing undersized on the market. If I had my way I would have Ernie come out with a version 3 5-Star that has the specs of the v1, the finish of the v2, and the HatPad response. That would be an epic yo-yo.

The acrylic case itself was laser cut by some guy who produces them.
I installed all the buttons, chips, wires, joysticks, and soldered it all together. I actually added a PCI connector (half green half purple haha) so I could remove the top plate and swap it with a different plate for different button layouts. Pretty cool… It works on any system thinkable. Acrylic cases range from $60-100 depending on customability (I chose translucent green and purple acylic), and about $200-300+ for parts. Mine also has pinball buttons on the sides ;]

If you think that one is nice… you need to see my Decepticon one, it’s custom made out of wood with color changing chameleon paint and decepticon line art laser etched on the bottom plexi window… hehe… cept nothing is installed in it.

Heres a little shot of the KLR that Bob PC’d for me. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Majesty…but the KLR has a special spot for me too. I really want to pick up another one. I wouldn’t mind another run of those bad boys one day.

I was having the same problem. The problem persisted on both Chrome and Firefox, but I didn’t try on IE.
