In the chat, forum rules that can be applied are applied. Here are specific things that shouldn’t be done:

When in the chat, please don’t spam. Spamming is typing the same thing over and over, or gibberish.

No talking in other languages. If there is someone in there that you want to talk to that way, use the private chat feature. However, saying hola or something like that is not a big deal, so please don’t say that someone is breaking the rules by doing that. One word greeting someone into the chat is ok.

The chat is not a place to start a b/s/t. If you want to trade or sell in the chat you need to start a room dedicated to just that, or just use the private chat feature.

Linking to other stores in the past was acceptable if we didn’t sell that particular yoyo.
I would like to change this rule.If you want to link to a certain thread from another forum for whatever reason, that is fine.
If you want to link to your b/s/t, I think you should just start one here.
If you want to link to another store about a product we do not sell but we sell the brand, please do not.
The reason is that maybe we are trying to get that particular product. This may hinder the sales for that product. -
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use the censor. If you use the censor for a vulgar word you will be automatically kicked off. You can, however, log right back in, but if it happens again, then you will be banned for the day. If you come back after that day and continue to curse, you will be banned from the chat again and may be temporarily or permanently banned from the forum. WE DO NOT TOLERATE VULGAR LANGUAGE, censored or not. No using symbols or acronyms to beat the censor either.

Be nice. There is no need to gripe at each other. This forum can be the best forum out there if WE make it that way. This includes the chat.

Animated smilies are a neat feature, but putting them as a chat icon lags the chat for a lot of people.
Please don’t use these. Having a chat icon is fine, just not animated. -
Please don’t post smilies just to see how they look in the chat room. They will look exactly the same as they do in the smilie list.

If you create a room in the chat, please ask someone if you can invite them. I’ve been there when someone was inviting everyone there individually. It’s really annoying when that happens to you.

If you are in the chat room and a moderator or administrator tells you something, PLEASE don’t ignore them. If you do ignore them they have the right to kick you out. It has happened more than you could imagine.

Please do not go into the chat and start asking which yoyo is better. We don’t like it in the forum and it’s even worse in the chat. Go to the looking for help/ recommendation sub forum and start a thread there.

Please do not post links to “get free yoyo’s buy doing these surveys”. If you do it’s an automatic kick.
I want to remind everyone who the moderators are in the chat:
All of the forum moderators, and “Mi” as well, are chat moderators. We all have the ability to remove whomever, so play nice and use common sense. Thanks.
