YoYoFriends are getting ready to release their new hybrid body fingerspin-centric yoyo called the Strand later this month. If you’re a diehard YoYoFriends fan, then you need this rare gem for your collection!
I have a prototype unit that I have been sitting for about 2 years at this point. They were planning on releasing it last year but decided not to because they had too much on their plate and wanted to refine it some more. I have to say in it’s current state, it’s a beast of a yoyo! It plays super smooth and it’s got a really good hefty feel to it and it will fingerspin for daaayyyyss… I really dig it but I simply don’t play it. Being a prototype and not knowing when they were going to release the production model I shelved it to keep it safe. It’s basically like brand spanking new.

It’s basically brand new, no nicks, dings or scratches. It’s a bit too wide for my liking so I have not thrown it much at all. It’s a heck of a player though! You’ve seen his vids. Comes with string but I no longer have the box.

Basically brand new out of the box. I bought it and threw it 3 or 4 times and shelved it. I prefer the original 54 more. Will include box.

This is a fun little pocketable hubstack yoyo. Definitely a lot fun to play with, only issue. I don’t play with it! LOL! I 3D printed some weight rings to go in it to beef up the weight a little bit and it plays way better with the rings. There are no dings or scratches. There are however a couple of places where there’s ano flaws inside the inner hub. This was like this from the factory. I honestly do not know how it passed QC, it wasn’t sold as a B-Grade. Plays great, just has that minor cosmetic off-coloring

This is the iconic Buzz-On Blaze! This one comes with some swanky mirror caps and the original caps! Great shape a couple of mold marks on it but they can be sanded out if you’d like (I could do that if you want, just let me know) There’s one nick on the hub that is super tiny but I wanted to note it. Super rare old yoyo these days.

Hubstacked and unengraved. Kind of on the fence about getting rid of this one. I like it but I never play it. Zero damage, plays super smooth!

This is a fun light up yoyo. The body glows, the hubstacks glow, it has lights. I’ll give you the choice of White glow hubstacks, green glow hubstacks or clear neon yellow hubstacks. There’s one nick on the edge that’s hard to see (photos) - overall it plays good but do expect that plastic attribute. It’s not glass smooth but it’s hella fun!
