Wooo that’s a good first choice! Everybody has different preferences, but I like using shorter string than I normally would for unresponsives, also cotton string breaks in really nicely and lasts a very long time! Go look at the fixed axle Friday section of yoyonews and there’s a ton of good learning material in there!
Best of luck!!!

No doubt- I’ve been following the fixfri and see outrageous amounts of inspiration there.
Right now ice got it tied bellybutton to floor length.

Any maintenance info would be helpful for sure.(I like to think ahead)

I second using a shorter string than for unresponsive 1A. About an inch under my belly button keeps things snappy.

Who produces TMBR?

I’d love to let them know about how I’m enjoying this throw.

It’s been awhile but @colinleland has a tag here. Look up Colin Leland in the Forum Search, lot of good stuff and history

He has the record for consecutive Eli Hops in a row at Worlds with 157, just a fun fact

This Suicides Video is off the hook

I hear mixed opinions on that model, but am glad I didn’t let any opinions affect my trigger pulling.

To each there own.

It’s a great throw. You can deffinitly feel the quality in this.

Thank you @colinleland for this amazing craftsmanship!

Is all his work done on a lathe?

Any other tools used?

Not all of his work. He used a woodthread tap and box, a drill press, a band saw and likely a table saw too (among other peripherals such as bench grinder).

Thanks for the info @Glenacius_K

Just got this same throw in the mail yesterday. I can tell this is going to quickly become a favorite along side my weekender.
