OK. I’m finally getting a bit stuck. Working on Banana Slide, Dolphin Flip, Trapeze to Brother to Double.
My hands just don’t want to cooperate with me

Banana slide looks like it’s really easy for everyone else, but it was very hard for me. Dolphin flip was also one that took me a long time to land.

I’ve got the Banana Slide down until the very end. The yo-yo keeps just dropping.
I’ll try to get a video up to show you soon.

That was where I struggled too. Dropping back into brother mount just would not work. I think the trick is to keep the strings pulled tight while tilting the yoyo back down, then you should be able to just drop it and reveal the brother stall.

This is what worked for me. The yoyo is mostly in the correct orientation before I let go of the tension.

Can the butterfly be unscrewed? I got a wrap around the bearing and have been picking at it with a toothpick without success.

normal butterfly cannot be unscrewed but the xt can. if it’s a normal one you can still take it apart but it’s a bit more than just unscrewing it. here is a guide from @Sleeper80
edit: i just noticed you said bearing which would mean it’s an xt and yes they unscrew. leaving the other in case you ever need to take apart a fixie fly

Nope, just try to wiggle it apart by hand. If it won’t budge wrap a bit of paracord around the axle and yank on it til you feel something move, then it should wiggle apart.
Twisting just makes it not go back together very well
