Finally got a chance to film a little bit, here is some Zines I made
Should I have stayed up till 2 am to do this and make a short edit? Probably not, but here we are, happy FAFsmas, everyone.

What’s the difference between Makin’ Da Zines and Regen Trapeze?
For me is this. Regens are soft, Zines are kinda violent. It’s the sudden redirection of the yoyo.
I can’t do them that well, but @GnarlyCharlie does them super nice. I saw a video of him doing the Zines and them was some proper zines. I’ll try to find it.
When exiting the trapeze the yoyo comes up between the hands, drawing an upside down 2. You’ll know you’ve got it when you feel the snap it makes as it changes direction. I had trouble with hitting the repeats on this trick last year.
+1 for @GnarlyCharlie s version as well
why can’t i do 'em like that!
Agreed no intention of stopping. You never know when one person will say one thing that makes a trick click. I watched like ten different tutorials to learn magic drop
End of the month for all entries!
That’s awesome! Good find!
I’ve been wanting to to get a picture but she’s usually off in the woods. She was right in the front yard today.
I’m not sure if I missed it, but I don’t see a Trapeze Regen trick listed.
I’m just taking shots in the dark since I’d need to see the trick, but maybe its one of the following:
Those are my best guesses. I dont think how hard you do the trick is the difference. I do zines both slow and fast depending on my mood, I’d still say the are zines tho.
Good video share! Added to my yoyo trick playlist.
Tricks and their names are 100% open to your interpretation
In my mind regens and zines are both an element and do not have to be thrown off of a trapeze, or trapeze stall. Although this is surely the most common way to do them.
My claim that zines are more violent is kinda wrong Charlies zines are proper AND he makes them smooth. It is my skill issue that my zines have such a violent jolt to them. I think.
best video ever!
Oh yeah for sure. I was just trying to figure it out too.
I definitely started with violent zines but im smoother now. Took me a while to get it all gentle. Im still not as gentle as charlie though, dude could play yoyo with an easter egg.
She’s beautiful!
what i want to know is: WHY is it named Makin’ da zines!
Named by Drew Tetz - full name “Sethy P Makin Da Zines [In Da Back (For Da Girls)]” - a reference to the inimitable Team Chubby Lovin and Pretty Boy Spinners member, Seth Peterson
