My mantra for 0A is No Rules, No Points!
That being said I do like using the upgraded Proyos. Leather caps bring them into the 49-52g range and to me at least the modified slimline shape helps with tricks like that double trapeze

Wait, chaptstick? I’m new to fixed axle, what do you use chapstick for?

A swipe of chapstick on the tip of the string (the part around the axle) helps you tune your response! It can also help make a scratchy wooden axle feel smooth, but the main purpose is tuning the response!

If your yoyo is to “Slippy” on the tug response; A lot of us put a dab of Chapstick or bees wax on the end of the loop around the axle to add more resistance and increase response.

I chose the Duncan Special - it’s like a cheaper version of the Imperial - because I like the color, but it doesn’t play very well to be honest.
