@Yodaddyo oh snap! Yeah, you did Ghost Trap! Sorry, I guess I was so focused on watching technique and thinking about tips I could offer that I totally spaced on the fact that you landed it! My bad! I added it to the list. :+1::purple_heart:

Wait, for real?!

I’ve been grinding this trick for like 10 extra minutes  I do want to try to get a better take.

Question: for fingerboard, it’s flip in flip out? Is that right? Like flip it onto my arm then flip it off? Or can it just be trapeze, skate, land back in trapeze? Flips are integral, yeah?

Oh. Weird. I swear I remember seeing somewhere the exact opposite. You brought the proof though :joy:

Forgive me, please!

Edit: found the comment I read. It was exactly the one @snoopy posted. ADHD changed the words around and tricked me. I went back and read it slower. It says only an imperial will do :rofl::rofl:

It’s an old BC wooden Fixie I got from Pun1sh3er.

Don’t worry about it though, I’ve got an Imperial coming in the mail.

Dang!!! You’re Rockin it out!!! I feel like the Imperial is my favorite looper. Once it’s in the groove it stays there so well. Now it is time to claim your prize. And DM your address. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thanks! I like the green one in the 5th row.

Honestly, I think those were my best loops ever.

In the tutorial I don’t flip into it, I just swing the yoyo up horizontal and catch it on my arm. You can do that, or flip into it. I flip(3/4 flip) to trapeze after the slide. You can flip after the slide or not flip and go straight to trapeze, just be aware of which side of the yoyo you land on the string so you’re not landing in reverse polarity(yoyo stalled the opposite way it normally would be). I like adding the flip either before the slide or after cause it’s like your doing a kickflip with a fingerboard, so it helps drive the point that the trick is imitating fingerboarding. However, the “trick” is really just an idea that you can use a yoyo like a fingerboard, and from there you could take it in different directions, for example, flip into it, slide on the other arm, varial out, slide on one arm and transfer “Ollie/Kickflip” to the other arm and slide, etc… so do the trick anyway you like :+1: it doesn’t have to be exactly like I did it, and this is all about just having fun and learning some new stuff anyway.

So if I have an unresponsive with a busted axle… and I replace that axle… does it then become a fixed axle??

I got a couple Duncan Butterflies yesterday, and just, wow! I have been over here on my newfound 0A journey trying to find the best of the best. What a waste of time and money, when a Butterfly is so capable and fun!

I’ve never done fixed axle before. Here is my sidewinder and trapeze stall.

I’m working to learn tape measure and banana slide next. This is a lot of fun.

It would be a fixed axle but not a fixed axle
You cant just fix an axle and call it a fixed axle
Unless of course you fix the axle, then i guess it would be a fixed axle then
