I think my Windshield Wipers wasn’t quite correct, so consider this a correction.

Question: for tape measure does it have to be spinning on your hand? I don’t have a yoyo capable of that

If you get it going fast enough, you only need a second or so for that string to wrap back up in there.
Or, if you have a fabric glove (which is occasionally included with some yoyo’s these days), that will also help cut down on friction to get a tad more spin.
Or lastly, one of the alternative methods was to cradle the yoyo and bring the throw itself up to the string loop made on your throw hand (like following it and closing your hands together). If you do that quick enough you can kind of hover your hand underneath the throw as it goes and give the appearance of the tape measure as well.

Do you have a glove? Almost any yoyo is capable with a glove.

Or like how I managed it last February: I was filming outside and it started raining, so I got a good tape measure with a Butterfly because my hand was wet haha

What yoyo have you been using?

The glove is definitely what I need. Any of my fixie’s either come to a screeching halt or jump up in the air once they make contact with my hand.

The Spinstar without a sleeve :skull:

I have a glove so I’ll use that

It will make a massive difference. I imagine almost any glove would work too. It doesn’t have to be a yo-yo glove

I can see a fun “Challenge” evolving from this.

Instead of DNA on a object, Tape measure…

Can I do a tape measure. On a tail of a beaver. While riding a horse. On a boat. In the sky?
If I can you better smash that like button, hit follow, and share this video!

My final 5 Tricks for Week 4

Thank you for this February, it was my first FixedAxleFebruary. It was a lot of fun and I had to learn almost everything first.

Thanks especially to @Overtinkering who helped me a lot.
And the great yo-yos from ZGRT and DocPop.

Freakin A dude!! Nice job!! Counterweights are repellent to me. The idea of tracking more than one object…with no attached tether…:thinking: no no no

Any tips on varials? I need that and the chopsticks stall to finish the trick list.

Varials seems insanely difficult to land consistently on a duncan butterfly though. No idea how to increase consistency there.

I did get the celeb trick this week! My new duncan butterfly is chipped to hell after two weeks of fixed axle february lol.
