Anyone have any tips on the lunar and reverse lunar landing?
Im having trouble hitting the string on the regular landing, then still have to get the reverse from there.

Pinch your fingers together when tho yoyo is about to land. Do not be afraid to touch the yoyo. And then the timing. And as i always say, it’s in the knees.

You are not alone. My issue is with my Pointer Finger. This is a new range of motion for me. Trying to keep my finger out of the way has been my biggest struggle.

Do it slow and use your knees if you have to. It’s all about catching the yoyo in a nice soft net.

Everybody so far is looking really great. 0a is one I’ve shy’d away from because the subtlety to it is very difficult for me to pull off. I’d like to say that seeing the effort that, first of all, went into getting this all arranged in the first place, and secondly, seeing all the effort that others are putting into learning has continued to drive me to keep trying. Thanks Boomers Club for the arrangements and thanks to everyone who is participating and making this a super fun event.

I tried forever to get it without cigarettes or children in the shot but it just wasn’t happening. I’m just glad I got it. If the undermount toss to brother mount doesn’t count, someone tell me so I can record again.

All 4 main tricks, went Imperial for the first 3 to show it can be done. Not pretty, but doable, haha!

If I understand correctly, then after performing all 4 tricks, you can make one more entry. I think I did. This is my second entry. If I’m wrong, just check out my G-Yo😁

If you do just one trick from the trick list, you get one entry for the El Mijo polycarbonate.
If you do all 4 tricks from the trick list, you get one additional entry for the El Mijo polycarbonate.
If you do the guest trick, you get one entry for the LKGlass yo-yo.

Love the g yo you get kudos for that. Your two entries are counted for doing all 4 the first time. This is for the poly el mijo. The 1 entry is for folks who can’t nail all 4 tricks. They still get a shot at a prize just not as good of odds.
The mysto set trick gets you an entry for the lkglass yoyo.
All an attempt to get more participation while still giving experienced folks a challenge.
Also if anyone is struggling with the video editing or posting on the forum aspect please reach out we will try to help you out there. We want as many people as possible to try this and don’t want a silly technical requirement not related to YoYo to get in the way.

i found, that the first flips are much easier than they look. Focus on the swing, to keep the yoyo still. And big revelation for me was to not pop the yoyo up AT ALL.
BUT i can get to this step like 1 in 20 tries and to practice the next flip is hard.
