If you mean when you dump(1/2 flip) out of the triangle you leave your throw hand finger in the triangle and then let go after the yo-yo has landed on the string resulting in the trapeze, then yes

if i can give one small tip for the stall tricks, you should give it a tug ‘before’ you hit the trapeze. hitting the trapeze before the yoyo responds makes it so much harder. looking forward to seeing your progress this month!

Like Brandon said, tug the yoyo back before the string touches your nth finger, but also bring your hands closer together. It’s much easier to land a stall when you yoyo starts coming back first, then your finger goes in, then bring your hands closer together (between 6 - 10 inches). Keep at it, you’re halfway there

Boom! You’re amazing! If I might throw a suggestion your way, try to absorb the yoyo a teensy bit when it lands on the string and you want nice easy throws. We’re not going for spin time here. Thats one of the things I love about fixed axle. It can be very laid back if you want it to.

Nice you figured it out. I need to record mine. I tried recording last night got a decent take then realized I didn’t have pants on. I don’t think yall want a video of me in boxers. It’s not that kind of site….

lol that sounds about right. I usually use davinci resolve and it decided it doesn’t like my latest graphics card driver update. Won’t start. So a day before I had to get the first faf video up I had to learn and begrudgingly install CapCut. I figured if it’s good enough for TikTok dances it’s probably good enough for some YoYo tricks.

I may use capcut for this. Kapwing is my main editor and this is happening to the other projects I was doing today too. I got a few to slide through but a few are just stuck. It’s a web based software so I’m sure there’s some sort of system issue right now.

Yeah probably a system outage or something. Web based are great for a quick thing but if your doing it often might be time to find something with an app that works on whatever platform you use most.
