Super fun trick.

Ok edited my previous comment to reflect the new video. Just commenting to make sure it’s set in stone (and you don’t skip over it)

I haven’t picked up a bearing yoyo since last year.

I did the same thing… so much I came up with a trick… haha.

Yay.

http://youtu.be/5hGYTk8FxoY round 2 submitted, if I didn’t hate the normal zipper enough and AAA zipper is annoying as all get out zipper stalls now occupy a special place in my life.

Edited original post to include new video, here the link again so you guys don’t have to go searching. Not sure why it uploaded with the huge black border…still getting used to YouTube at this point.

Zipper Stalls!

SkinnyB round 2

Round 2! It’s a weird feeling to know that I’m making some of you nervous. Hopefully that’ll give you some incentive to kick my butt in the later rounds. And that is a very real possibility if Ed pulls out the Shuvits or the elongated picture tricks.

Here is the submission.

it’s funny. everybody has stuff they feel comfortable with and stuff they have a tough time with. i’m sure this is a slow start to some people, and i hope it’s not boring. i’m consciously making the first few rounds about the fundamentals of our fledgling little style. partly i have selfish motivations for that, since if we can con a few of you into getting that stuff super-dialed, we’ll have a whole new crew of players poised to take fixed in crazy new directions. and i want to make sure whoever takes this thing has the basics covered, because there’s way more to fixed axle than hitting a lucky quadruple kickflip.

you really have no idea how much you guys are amping me up though. it’s like having surfed a fun little wave with drew tetz and a couple other guys for years, and then having a ton of friends suddenly show up with their boards and throwing a huge bbq.

I completely get being more comfortable with some tricks and not with others. I was less comfortable with round one actually.

Here is my entry.

Love starting with the fundamentals. I’ve always been the type to skip things like that and go straight to the top. Skip Waikiki lessons and head up to Pipe (some of you know what that means  ). So this is getting me working on those things, and not just doing them but really getting them to where they are second nature. Not there yet on that but still working on it.
