Love starting with the fundamentals. I’ve always been the type to skip things like that and go straight to the top. Skip Waikiki lessons and head up to Pipe (some of you know what that means ). So this is getting me working on those things, and not just doing them but really getting them to where they are second nature. Not there yet on that but still working on it.

Agreed. This has also pushed me to up my game in general. Came up with a multi-stall picture trick today after rerecording my entry for round 2 as well as working on under stall kickflips. Check out #fixedcircle on IG, only one post each from Berto and I this far but trying to get this thing going. Will be posting a video soon of my new “pic-trick.”

I wish my camera was better so that you could make out the yoyo a bit better while it’s spinning. The grain and the inlay make a beautiful pattern.

Mine is raw maple with the blue caps. It’s awesome, but has nothing in the way of grain. I love how light it is.

After the clarifications following Round 1, there really shouldn’t be an excuse for not getting your trick up by today at 3p (unless I full-on forgot, which is no prob since it’s timestamped). Otherwise, move on to the Round 3 thread as soon as you see it. That trick may represent a gateway for some of you, but it’s an important one.
