Howdy yoyo friends and family! My father recently had a hip replacement surgery. So ive taken some time off work so I can stay with my parents and help my mom and dad with my dad’s recovery. I need to sell these asap so I can continue to take time off work to help them. I accept paypal F&F and G&S. US shipping is free. International shipping is $25.
i heard from em 9 days ago, said he was gonna ship out but didn’t follow up with any tracking or update and i still haven’t gotten my throw; purchase was abt 19 days ago from now
Not normal for him. I’ve purchased over 50 yo-yos from him and this is the first time he hasn’t sent out immediately. Hope he’s ok. I sent him a good chunk of change over two weeks ago.
I bought that bandit from him. Took a lil bit to get here, but it was packed super safely. I’ve gotten a few from him over the years, he’s never done me dirty. Sometimes he’s just bad with responding.
I don’t suspect any wrongdoing from Ed, but this whole situation definitely has me rethinking using PayPal Friends & Family. I sent $200 about 21 days ago, and something unexpected obviously happened on his end. Just hoping everything is okay and that we can get an update soon.
Anybody gotten an update or received anything from him in the last 18 days? I haven’t heard from him since then, I know he’s got a good rep, but seems like he’s inactive now.
Im told his dad was getting hip replacement surgery. The second hip. He kept saying about having to help his parents…I’m not making an excuse, just telling you what I was told. I don’t know if it has anything to do with your situation
There could be a lot going on here so I don’t want to speculate. I just want to put it out there that I wish people on here were more understanding that in times of hardship, telling people on an internet forum what’s happening to you—even if you’re supposed to be sending them something they paid for—can absolutely be the last thing on your mind. In fact, if you’re in danger, then I think logging off and prioritising your safety is the sane, healthy thing to do. I’m not pointing the finger at anyone, I’m just saying that our mindset about going incommunicado may cause us to cast accusations towards people who are already facing extreme adversity.
Unless there are serious complications, a hip-replacement should take about a month before you are able to really begin to be fully mobile again. After two weeks, you are encouraged to do physical therapy and take short walks. The doctor told my wife to stop catering to me after two weeks. “He needs to get up and use that new hip” he told her.
