Favorite Video Games

Currently replaying Hollow Knight, but my all time favorites are Resident Evil 2 Remake, Final Fantasy 7 (the original and the remake), Final Fantasy 10, Prey, and Resident Evil 4

Oh Prey is on my list of games to play. I’ve been telling myself I’ll play it for years now. Need to find time soon

It’s a really good game imo.
It starts out a little slow, but quickly opens up.

I like it because there’s multiple options/routes you can do throughout the story which can affect later-game events and which ending you get.
It’s also open to your own play style - whether you want to play fast and aggressive or slow and stealthy, you can do either and still progress the story.

Never played roblox that often, never have. until recently I downloaded roblox for this one game and this one game only that I play everyday now. My favorite videogame to play in between yoyo sessions, and school/internet time ( the only video game I play anymore)

One of my all time favorite gaming series is Psychonauts. My wife is currently playing through Psychonauts 2 and I nearly forgot that there is a psychic yoyo dude in this game!

Always nice to see some representation in video games. Other than him I can only recall yoyos in terraria and super smash bros/earthbound.

I still didn’t beat Psychonauts 2, but will eventually get back into it as I had been enjoying it.
Ninjala is a free-to-play game on Switch that actually also has a yoyo as a weapon

My Pokemon go friend code.

I’ve been getting more into gaming again recently. A long time ago I was a die hard gamer (first as a kid, then as an adult with Rainbow 6: Rogue Spear online).

My fiancee and I loved Breath of the Wild. My favorites have been Hades, Detroit: Become Human, Disco Elysium, and now The Witcher 3. I’m enjoying the Witcher 3 so much I’ve been reading the comic books and novels!

haha had I known that the jump from hard difficulty to the next difficulty in the game (Expert) was so high…I wouldn’t have come here bragging about having all the ā€˜Hard’ difficulty songs down! >.<’

I still play this game everyday though and I’m slowly getting there! I have jumped up to the next difficulty and have now got 131 S ratings out of the 150 official songs available in the game (they’ve added more songs since I posted last).

There’s at least 10 songs at this difficulty level that are WAAAAY beyond my current skill level. They are insanely fast with very complicated patterns.

The last difficulty is Expert+…and that feels a long ways off for me as well. To think there’s people out there that get SS ratings without missing a single block on Expert+ boggles my mind. I’m only putting 5-6 hours into the game a week…I bet some of them put 5+ hours in each day to get to where they are.

Here’s a good example of where I’m currently at skill wise. This is me getting an s on Papercut by Linkin Park on Expert. It’s a pretty dang fast song and the blocks switch sides quite a bit making it fairly complicated. It’s taken me a long time…but I finally got it today . That being said though…I missed a ton of blocks here and have a LONG ways to go!

I used to play a lot of video games, but I came to the conclusion if I have time to game, I have time to practice piano. Both require time, but the piano needs dedication to see improvement. I had so many favorites including Half Life, Portal 2, and Batman Arkham Asylum. Watch my son play Elden Ring, what a game!

I really like this game. It feels super fast and the police chases are the best in videogames.

I’ve been playing a lot of Elden ring and MSFS lately, if I don’t get distracted throwing.

In ER I’m slowly making my way into the game as a mostly stealth/melee samurai. It’s been pretty challenging.

In MSFS I like to just load up anywhere I haven’t been, hop in the F18 and fly high, fast and far. If the areas is especially mountainous, I’ll revisit it in a bush plane going super slow and low and try landing on anything remotely flat.

I, too, have been sucked into the world of Elden Ring. I’m 100+ hours in and still on my first playthrough (although I think I’m close to the end of the main story). There is so much content in this game, it’s insane.

I’ve also been playing a ton of RDR2 lately. Being an outlaw is fun.

I think i can still reply to this. Stardew is up there for me. Climbed the peak twice as they say, and i just finished a no Pierre run. (Backpack exception)

I also love torturing myself so gta 5 online and rdr2 online are in the rotations. I got the Black arabian throu grinding, and I own a yacht in GTA. Why on both? I don’t know.

Oh and I’m an olderish pokemon game fan. Gen 5 and 6.

Almost through The Witcher 3 and both expansions. Easily my favorite game of all time. It’s utterly fantastic. I even started reading the books and surprisingly love them as well! I’m quite picky with my reading choices, so I wasn’t expecting to love the books.

Loved this series. Much better than people give it credit in my opinion
