I don’t know what magic they used, but I have dinged the snot out of it, but it is still dead smooth on finger grinds. Such a good edc.
Edit: if Tiss Humming bird counts, then I would argue Machination should count too. especially since the machination can spark, while TiSS can’t.

I feel like to be a titanium throw it needs to have a titanium body, as it is the main part of the yoyo. Having titanium rims is pretty gimmicky in my book, and should not allow a yoyo to be classified as a titanium.
Fair enough, and it also doesn’t have the titanum ring/ting sound.
But i will defend to the end that there is nothing gimmicky about the Machination. On paper it makes no sense to me why they don’t just make the whole thing out of titanium (but then you probably lose that sweet mystery fade anno), but once you feel it in hand or on string, there is nothing gimmicky about it.
it makes perfect sense to me - no way it’d hit that price point if it was fully titanium.

I believe retail was $600USD - I got mine on the FBST in used but unabused condition - the only raw I’ve seen posted…there are a lot of cracked versions that have been up for sale but I’d rather not baby the jojo because of ano and throw with abandon

Its a spin machine and has a ton of power, but I wonder if the extra weight is needed.
