People see my tierlist as a fav yoyos post, but that’s not true
Atm the Savage and the Laze are the main yoyos I bring out and about with me, usually subbing in either the Asterisk or Forma as the 3rd, depending on my mood. Savage is an all-timer though.
But I adore the Code 2, Rally, Savage, SYFO, OG Replay, Leaf, Creep, Galaxy Diver, Anglam Pinnacle, GTR-JS, Wilderness, Halcyon, Rainier Boosted. Honestly, I could go on.
Despite my vocal criticisms of a bunch of yoyos, usually what I value is sentimentality, or just plain and simple, if I just randomly enjoyed something about it.
Code 2 and Rally are just mad sentimental; they’re what I always wanted when I was a kid who couldn’t afford nice yoyos. Savage has basically been a permanently reliable yoyo that I always enjoy. OG Replay I got as a gift and it’s mad sentimental, same with the G-Diver. The Creep and GTR-JS also sentimental because that was my first year at nationals (added benefit that the GTR-JS is just plainly a really good yoyo). The Leaf is also sentimental; it’s a yoyo that represents my work on the Chief documentary and my involvement in the community. SYFO and Anglam Pinnacle are the only yoyos I’ve bought, sold, and then re-bought because I missed them. They’re just comfy yoyos. Then the Halcyon, Wilderness, and Rainier Boosted are all just super good, and to me they represent forward-thinking in yoyo and progress, and I appreciate that.
