Fake Throws

I wouldn’t call that a fake Summit. It doesn’t appear to even have side effects.

Theres this guy called “Radish”. Anyone whos in China and collects Japanese throws would know him… Draupnir, Dazzler, Mustang, Phaser, he made all these fakes. He says he did the machining production for these original throws, and claims the fakes he has is as good as the real ones, but it really isn’t. He sells it for around 1/4 of the actual price, which is also not cheap…

Yeah, it’s sad because counterfeits happen in other industries too, I guess manufactures just see this as a way to earn extra cash, since 1 real mustang is basically a month worth of their income.

is he the same one that made the ‘fake’ a-rt grails?

Hi all!
Is it allowed to trade with copies of non-original yo-yos in this buying / selling forum if it is warned in advance that they are copies, that they are fake?

Greetings;)

nope that’s another guy… he doesn’t seem to have any affiliation with these yoyo companies tho.

Probably not since you don’t really know what the new seller will do, but might be better idea to ask the admins.

I have asked a forum administrator and he told me that trading with fake yo-yos is not allowed for several good reasons, including the one you mentioned;)
Topic clarified: thank you administrator!

I was trying to find some of these on my own and did come across the LITA Canvas. They wanted $650 for it, and the Proxy note was that this was a sketchy deal with no guarantees and a Buyer Beware *.

I hate to admit it; but I would love to try one of these fake Draupnir’s to see if they play as close to the original as they look.

Of course, once my curiosity is satisfied -I would cast it into the fires of Mt. Doom; so that no one could ever again fall prey to its dark power.

Do you think it’s a good idea if I start a pay it forward thread with the fake Draupnir? this way people will know it’s a fake and not try to resell it…

Yeah they got the weight on the Sleipnir pretty accurate, but for some reason the fake one played slightly heavier than the real one.
