Experimental yoyo design

So sometimes I like to go a bit crazy when im working on a design and try to see what the boundaries are of what i can design and what can be machined.
This design is called the Noscope and I’m not even sure it works. It has 3 undercuts in the wall of the yoyo and in theory basically takes a full size yoyo and squishes it into a 30 mm width. It is a tad bit of a nightmare to machine, but we might see prototypes of this design by December if all goes well.

thanks for looking…

Cool looking design! After throwing the Moonshine so much i’d love to see more narrow yo-yos produced, this one looks fun.

It looks unlike anything I’ve seen before, though I can’t see any performance reason to make it that way other than for the looks, I definitely want one.

First thing that came to mind when I saw this:

Dingo

Would absolutely buy if the price is kept low.

This was designed shortly before the moonshine was released, but yes I wish more people would consider trying to make slimline yoyos.

We actually have no idea how this will play so we are making this with a huge risk. There was a design before this that we were able to fit four undercuts into, but that was later deemed unmachinable. I’m waiting to see how it plays if it plays at all.

The problem with this design is that it is very expensive to machine. Price point will be determined after we figure out if its playable.

This looks really cool! Good job! Hopefully it plays well!
