Ever dinged ya kids?

I remember the “light anywhere” matches from my younger days, I remember using my zipper or thumbnail to light them… Man, I miss the '80s sometimes

The “strike on box” matches will only ignite with the striker on the box. I guess some sort of specific chemical reaction. Which may end up being the trick. Taping strikers to the yo yo instead of sandpaper… The “strike anywhere” matches ignite with friction from anything, sandpaper, sidewalk, brick wall, etc.

i whacked my wife in the index toe last night - she was in a lot of pain. she was sitting right in front of me chatting and i was paying no mind to what i was doing. but, it was the perfect storm and i got her. very specific spot, felt really bad but she’s doing better today.

Oohhh, poor lass. I’ve pulled plenty of what I’m sure felt were gonna be smooth, long, flawless combos (fairly few and far between to be honest) to avoid such impacts. Thanks for sharing. Bad Dad scale…? 2.5/10…?

Imagine that! Sitting round with her feet up whilst you were hard at work throwin Yo. For shame.

When I was in Boy Scouts, the coolest of dudes would have a strike anywhere sticking out of their mouths and on command, could use a strike anywhere match to light a strike anywhere.

Even if I don’t figure out how to light them with a forward pass, it’s nice having strike anywhere matches around to play with. Haven’t seen them since I was in college…

Ding kids accidentally? Nah
