Haha not really, I would prefer if it sells
But I’m happy to introduce yoyos to more people at the same time. It’s an awesome hobby I feel the number of people involved is under representative of how amazing this hobby actually is.

Just got done reading through this thread, really inspiring! Having to nail tricks one shot with all that pressure is no joke; many people die out on trick ladders way before their actual potential, so don’t feel bad about your performance at all. Glad you had fun at the competition and hope you stay yoyoing!

Thank you @eternalmetal!

Yeah the thread was initially started as you can see to ask a question on whether I should enter or not.

But I kept going and updating my progress partly so I have something to force me into daily practice as I created the need to upload daily videos, and I can’t have zero progress each day.
Partly to try and get a little used to the nerves at least on camera compared to yoyoing alone.

But mainly I was hoping any other beginners out there that was on the fence, I could inspire to try.
The ā€œif that guy can do it in less than a month experience then why not? Let’s give it a goā€.
And for anyone searching ā€œtrick ladderā€ in the forums because they are planning to have a go I thought it would be interesting to see someone else’s journey and experience and learn from that to do better themselves.
It’s basically the thread I wish existed, so I made it exist.

I am so glad I did, all the encouragement I received from the likes of yourself has made it an amazing 3 weeks leading up to the contest regardless of the outcome.

Having said that 2020 UK Nationals, I am going to make sure I WIN that one.

I still can’t believe you were able to learn Kwyjibo in under a month. I wasn’t as diligent as you, but it took me about 6 months to be able to land the second hop with a 50% success rate. I think if you stick with it you might be able to win next time. Good luck!

The UK Nationals should be in late June / early July 2020.

So I have plenty of time to practise.

I’m hoping you can scratch out might be able to and replace it with congratulations on your win in 6~7 months time

Also I think I have over 24 hour of practice under my belt on Kwyjibo alone :scream:
