Edge: nice feel on string, with best of monometal and bi-metal feel
Beyond: premium feel, stable, slightly undersized, bi-metal and light
I wouldn’t go all out on an Edge Beyond, but Edge is very nice.

The original edge feels very good, it’s light, quick, stable, comfortable, good at grinds. The Beyond is better at everything the Edge is good at

The classic edge is fast and nimble - smooth and really reactive with still great overall stability. Binds great - one of my favorite throws for regeneration tricks.
Edge BEYOND is all about power. It has incredible spin and stability and is really forgiving on the string for freestyle and any kind of long spin trick you need to get through.
They each have their own strengths in a sense. I love to play both for different reasons - Edge when I’m enjoying just throwing and Edge Beyond if I’m working on a new trick and need extra spin (Edge Beyond is also just super impressive looking in person!)
