The E-Bay seller “Finderman” has been selling some yo-yos for the past week. These yo-yos are from a collection that US Airways lost while I traveled to the world yo-yo contest in 2006. At this point, I don’t want to speculate about how he got the yo-yos – I just want to get them back.

Unfortunately the airlines sell alot of the unclaimed/lost items they get. I remember watching a tv show about it. There is actually a store in Alabama just for this.

I’m buying the yo-yos back from people – not asking them for a handout. I’ve bought 17/30 from the seller and 3/30 from people who purchased them. So now I’m at 20/30. 10 are still missing, but I only know the names of 7 of those until I receive the case in the mail… I’ve spent close to $1000 so far buying my stuff back.
