hi so my friend gave me his metal zero to mod and stuff, but i can’t make it unresponsive. i cleaned bearing well, took out a friction sticker, still doesn’t work! help?
the only thing that i know that can make it unresponsive is silicone recess
Well then you need to reclean the bearing. That is the only thing that will make a yoyo unresponsive. I have a Zero that has both duncan stickers in it and its unresponsive.

I took the shields off, filled a cup that can be sealed with mineral spirits, and put unshielded bearing in, sealed , then shook.
Did you blow it out afterwards?

Play it for a while, should break in.
