I live in the UK and though I have read about this warning don’t really know what to make of it and how much to worry!
It’s on nearly everything. Honestly, I wouldn’t much worry about it unless you’re going to be ingesting parts of the case.

It’s a CYA measure. That notice is on everything in California.
