Quick question: Are ds bearings 10 ball bearings?

Does it matter? Difeyo Konkave is not 10 ball either but it’s smoother and quieter than pretty much any other 8 ball I’ve tried.
Not really, I just like to know what I’m buying before I get it.
I was surprized to find only 8 in all of mine too. I now have Steel, Gold and Plats in DS. They all play the same, gold looks cooler, plats sound cooler steel is least expensive.
The golds might look cooler to you at first, but give them a month or so and they will no longer be gold.
That’s why I go with the platinum’s.
ive been using gold DS for over a year now, and while it does lose its shiny luster in the center where the string lives, i can still tell at the smallest glance its the gold one. Drop it in a dark purple throw and it beams Bling Bling once again haha.
