Stainless is my thing, too so Oasis is in rotation as well. Trying, poorly, to redirect that collecting energy into learning, but..
Awesome
LETS GOOO I love my mystery yoyo already and Iāve only thrown it a few times. It rules
Thank you Nathan!
Definitely a big boy! I thought the Rainier was big as it was my biggest throw until today. I donāt know if Iāll ever like the size (can we get a 56x56? ), but itās really a cool throw and different from everything else I have. Super smooth, good power and stupid light. Not sure how it maintains spin, but it does. The green is nice, too! Very deep. I was hoping for a Ranier-esque style throw, but this is surprisingly good. Oh, and itās definitely got that Dressel goodness on lock. Like it or not, itās a work of art and exquisitely crafted.
Just got mine today, itās fantastic, those spikes are SOLID! Good thing Iāve got guitar callouses. Absolutely love them, like the Operator matadors!
Yeah the spikes are sharper than Iād like but they wonāt kill anyone haha.
That might be a deal breaker. I would rather they have a body count attributed
Lol I keep bumping the rims of the yoyo with my hand when Iām messing with the spikes, and I have pretty long fingers!

When it comes to yoyos, Dressel Designs studies the past to shape the future. Apollo is our second yoyo machined from POM, and our first non-hybrid plastic design.
Our team grew up with plastic yoyos, when throwing rancid milks and hourglass combos reigned supreme. Thereās something special about that early feeling of yoyos, when your favorite staple tricks were being innovated left and right.
We opted to build Apollo with POM (Delrin) plastic. It is tough to use POM with complex construction like fixed caps or bimetal rims, and even moreso when the materials are slippery like POM. But there is an undeniably buttery-smooth texture that comes with POM that is difficult to recreate with other plastic materials, and most closely matches the feeling of those old plastic toys. While we love Polycarbonate and value how much easier it can be to build a multi-piece yoyo, we chose to avoid cutting corners to stay true to our goals for Apollo.
But yoyos arenāt just toys anymore. Theyāre built to perform.
Apollo builds a balance between these distinct epochs of ideals and play, melding together into one beautifully precision machined model that doesnāt compromise on what you value.
Looking for a trendy shape and wide catch zone for your biggest tricks and highest clicks? Apollo makes them riskless.
Looking to explore the intricacies and sensation of plastic that make your favorite playersā nostalgic? Apollo guides you there on every throw.
How about something that stands out visually from the rest of your collection? You wonāt believe the unique engraving technique we used on our caps until you feel it for yourself.
Apollo isnāt just a yoyo. Itās a bridge between worlds.

Using Connection and Nimbus
Congrats @yo-yo!!
That looks great! I was looking for a nice Delrin yoyo.
How does it feel with the 67.3g of weight?
It doesnāt feel as heavy. Feels closer to the 64.5-65.5 range depending on your string length.
Oh great, Iām getting quite excited for it.
Is it also a bit more on the quieter side like the Monarch or maybe a bit louder like other plastics? Just curious.
Quieter IMO. The cap mutes the sound a bit but it still has that plastic sound.
Alright, looking forward to release
Weāre having a labor day sale over on our website. Discounts on everything in our web store. If we have a color or a yoyo that you canāt find on yoyoexpert, we encourage you to take a look.
