Double or Nothing...HELP!

Where abouts does the string need to wrap around each finger?

Is it bottom part of left finger - top part of right finger - top part of left finger - land on string?

Thats exactly what you need to do. But don’t focus on where the string goes, just focus on landing the yoyo on the right string.

You worry too much :D! Just imagine you’re doing a trapeze with strings wrapped around your fingers that you’re ignoring.

To make it easier to land on the correct string, for your non-throwhand, try to make the two string segments as fat apart as possible. As for your throwhand, as there is only one string segment there, you can ignore it.

For the first time around the left finger try to keep the string very far from fingernail and close to hand. And when the yoyo goes on the right pointer finger do the same and keep it close to hand and again far from fingernail(this will help in next step). For second time on left pointer make the string land just below the fingernail and close to the top of your finger. Then just Stop the yoyo and practice swinging it on the string.

Start as though you are throwing a trapeze - Bring the yoyo over your Non-throwhand Index Finger. Don’t land on your string and go over your throwhand finger.

Now, just as in trapeze, go over your non-throwhand index finger and land on the string.

Other advice: Keep the strings away from each other.
