I just got a titanium yo-yo, and it looks a bit like how a nickel yo-yo tarnishes. Is this true?

It’s resistant to corrosion/tarnishing, but it can still corrode, especially the alloys (like Grade 5, which your yoyo is likely made of).

Not like brass. But it can. It’s easy to clean and stays cleaner longer than most metals. But this is just my experience with titanium frame lock knives, usually from 6AL4V ti, which I personally never got to tarnish. There’s a way to clean it off. But like I said, I don’t have a lot of experience with other titanium alloys.
