I was using my dark magic 2 and hit something, and one of the metal rings partially came off. how can I get it back on?
Same happened to me. Pretty tough to get back on all the way.
For the most part, pressing it against a table worked.

If you do that, take it apart so you are only pressing on the side the ring came off of, otherwise you are likely to damage the axle/bearing seat.
I just slammed the half with the ring coming off down on a table lol.
I push it with my hands, careful to keep pressure centered so I don’t break the axle.
